麻豆官网 invites the community to experience the creativity and talent of its students at the upcoming Personal Enrichment Art Exhibition, on display from June 4 through July 15, 2026 in the Hastings Gallery at the Boyd Library.
The exhibition highlights a diverse collection of artwork created by students enrolled in the College鈥檚 Personal Enrichment Art classes. Visitors will enjoy an array of media, including paintings, ceramics, sculptures, photography, and more鈥攐ffering a glimpse into the artistic instruction and flourishing creativity within the program.
Opening Reception
A special 鈥淢eet the Artists鈥� Opening Reception will be held on:

The reception provides a unique opportunity for attendees to connect with the artists, hear the stories behind their work, and celebrate the vibrant arts community at 麻豆官网 Community College. Guests can enjoy refreshments, fellowship, and an afternoon of artistic inspiration.
Featured Instructors
The exhibition reflects the dedication and expertise of several talented instructors, including:
- Harry Neely, a nationally recognized artist, teaches Oil Painting: The Language of Paint 鈥� Edges & Impasto, where students explore still life and landscape techniques to develop expressive styles.
- Jean Frost, a longtime instructor, leads the Frost Oil Workshop, fostering creativity and technical growth in oil painting.
- Wilder Rich offers Drawing Basics and Oil Painting Landscapes, helping students build foundational skills and explore composition, color, and perspective.
- Paul Haigh, known for his craftsmanship and imaginative approach, teaches Ceramic Designs: Hand Building & Wheel Throwing, a popular class for artists of all skill levels.
- Mat Gibson, a professional Pinehurst-based photographer, leads Introduction to Photography, guiding beginners through essential camera techniques and photographic fundamentals.
